Ever present God,
teach us your ways.
Show us how to be present and engaged
in all the moments of our lives.
Teach us to be here, wholly here
in our bodies, in our feelings, in our minds, in our souls.
Because otherwise,
our God-breathed lives
will pass us by.
Help us accept your ever open invitation to be here
in this moment of now–
however ordinary or extraordinary–
because if we pay attention,
we’ll catch glimpses of you everywhere.
